Launch of Marimba on Tunet TV

A research programme, a record label and a digital platform are some of the aspects of an unprecedented Portuguese-speaking project, entitled Marimba, to promote music from Angola, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and East Timor.
Marimba is an initiative of the Portuguese producer Soundsgood that obtained funding from the Procultura Programme, from the European Union and the Camões Institute. In a statement, Soundsgood explains that Marimba is a “socioeconomic intervention project” that will cover “all links in the music sector value chain” – from research to internationalization – in those four Portuguese-speaking countries.
