Guinean artists Patche Di Rima and Poeta Lit G will take the stage at Casa da Música in Porto on June 28, 2025. The concert, titled "Meeting of Generations," aims to celebrate the music of Guinea-Bissau through the coming together of two distinct artistic journeys. In addition to their solo performances, the event will feature special collaborations between the two artists and surprise guests.

With 25 years of career, Patche Di Rima has been one of the most consistent voices in Guinean music, blending styles such as gumbé, tina, and singa with influences from afrobeat, zouk, and kizomba. With four albums released, the artist is not limited to music — he is also the founder of the production companies AGI (Guinean Image Agency) and GUIGUY RECORDS. Recently, besides performing on stage, he has been involved in cultural initiatives focused on promoting human rights. He recently performed on the Esplanade of Casa da Música, strengthening his connection with the Portuguese audience.

Poeta Lit G, meanwhile, has been establishing himself on the Guinean music scene by blending rap with dramaturgy and poetry. His EP Nandjafu includes the track Sucesso Sin Sossego, a reflection on his journey explored through the Mentcher-Mentcher style, where he fuses languages and traditional sounds of Guinea-Bissau. The artist has collaborated with names such as Djenis de Rima and Yaya Galissá, and his most recent music video stands out for its cinematic approach filled with symbolism.

The Meeting of Generations concert promises to be more than just a musical show — it will be a space for sharing between different eras and influences of Guinean music. The lineup includes classic songs from the country and more recent compositions that reflect the evolution of the Guinean music scene, creating a dialogue between tradition and innovation.
