AFROPUNK Bahia 2023 takes place this weekend, see the schedule

Salvador, known for its rich culture and vibrant music, will host the next edition of AFROPUNK Bahia 2023, scheduled for November 18th and 19th.
This great festival will take place in the city's Exhibition Park, bringing together a diverse range of musical attractions ranging from pop and rap to Bahian pagodão and MPB.
AFROPUNK Bahia 2023 promises more than 20 presentations, distributed across two main stages: Gira and Agô. The line-up includes singer and songwriter Victoria Monét, who will make her debut on Brazilian soil. This will be a milestone for the artist's fans in the country.
Other renowned attractions include samba singer Alcione, pop star IZA, the iconic Carlinhos Brown, BaianaSystem, the electrifying Gaby Amarantos, Majur, Tasha and Tracie, among many others. The festival promises to be a spectacle of talent and musical diversity.
The festival will open its gates at 3:30 pm on both days. On Saturday, November 18th, the Gira Stage will have artists such as Pivoman and Manigga, Gaby Amarantos, Carlinhos Brown presenting “Alfagamabetizado”, Victoria Monét and Djonga. On the Agô Stage, the public will be able to enjoy Trapfunk & Alivio, Majur, Luccas Carlos with O Poeta, Tasha and Tracie inviting Tati Quebra Barraco, and O Kannalha.
On November 19th, Sunday, Palco Gira will feature Lunna Montty and guests, Olodum, Alcione inviting the samba school Mangueira, IZA and BaianaSystem with special guests. On the Agô Stage, attractions include Karen Francis, AJULIACOSTA, VANDAL, KayBlack and Caverinha.
