Pomadinha, an emerging rock band from Porto, releases their debut single with lyrics: "Time", now available on digital platforms.

With a raw, cinematic sound, "Time" marks a turning point in the band’s creative identity. Born from a whistled melody in a hotel garage, the song evolved through rehearsals into an emotional anthem about something money can't buy: time.

The original idea came from Marco Barbosa (guitarist), who wrote the lyrics and core structure, later developed collaboratively by the rest of the band. Production and recording were handled by Gonçalo Cabral, with Pedro Rafael Santos mastering the track.

More than just a song, "Time" also became an internal symbol — the band’s WhatsApp group was even renamed to the dramatically stretched “TTTTIIIIIIIMMMMMMEEEE,” a running joke among members about the song's emotional weight.

The release paves the way for three live shows scheduled for June:

June 18: ESAD (Matosinhos), at the end-of-year party.

June 20: RCA Radioclube Agramonte (Porto).

June 21: Indie Talents Final – Indie Music Fest, at the Centro Cultural de Paredes.

"Time" is also accompanied by a live video, available online — another testament to the genuine energy that Pomadinha brings to the stage and to your speakers.
