Remix Contest
About this contest
In this context, with the aim of encouraging creativity and highlighting musical talents, a Remix competition is being launched for musicians, producers and DJs, with a special focus on the participation of women. The songs, pre-selected by the jury, are classic themes of popular music from each of the partner countries identified above (1 Timor-Leste; 1 Guinea-Bissau; 1 Angola, 1 Mozambique).
Remixes are a creative way of reinterpreting an existing song, adding new elements, changing rhythms and styles or bringing a new perspective to the original work. This Competition offers a platform for producers, artists and DJs to showcase their unique and innovative vision of the songs that can be found at https://marimbaworld.bandcamp.com/.
Four candidates will be selected, one from each partner country.
