The Hood Brodz is a duo of DJ/producer brothers from Maputo, capital of Mozambique.

The Hood Brodz is a duo of DJ/producer brothers from Maputo, capital of Mozambique. The group's name is a reference to the modest neighborhood where grew up, Bairro Trevo, “where hope is low and poverty is part of the everyday  every day, and the name is a motivation for all young people from different neighborhoods of the parents, this serves to make you dream, uplift, motivate, no matter what form of art you follow.
Ayrton and his younger brother, Hélio, have been working together as a duo for 5 years, releasing many songs to establish their brand in the Mozambican musical panorama.The duo started in 2017, Ayrton, the oldest brother Velho has been a DJ since 2012, and Helio has been a producer since 2014, when they were both  in production and DJing started the duo, starting with releases of national to international record labels such as South Africa's Mudipie, Akwaba Music from France, Afro Centric from Dubai, Hot Voices from Angola and many others.
