Her artistic journey began when she took one of her songs to the radio and met the singer Princezito. In 2008, she participated in the program Summer 2008 and recorded a zouk. In the year 2012, she stood out in the Pop Star contest in Cape Verde, securing third place. Since then, she released her first single in 2015 and her debut album in 2017, produced by Maurício Pacheco in Rio de Janeiro. In 2019, Fattú Djakité founded the Cape Verdean band AZÁGUA and represented Cape Verde at the Expo Dubai 2020. Recognized for her influence, she received awards, including Best Female Performer at the CVMA, and was named one of the 100 most influential personalities of the Lusophony by Bantumen. Her album “Praia Bissau,” released in 2022, solidified her impact on the music scene. She participated in the Gamboa Festival 2023 with great success and is an active voice in social causes, including the “Badjuda Bonita” campaign.
